Can someone please help: The neomycin-phosphotransferase (NPT-II) gene confers resistance to a few antibiotics (e.g. neomycin, kanamycin, geneticin). Is vancomycin included in this list? If not, what gene is responsible for vancomycin resistance? Thanks very much Johan Burger
