Some of the antibacterial peptides described from insects are very small,
about 12 AA or so, I think, for phyrrococin (if this is spelled right)
and some other peptides described from hemiptera and drosocin from D.
melanogaster. I am almost certain that these peptides have larger pre-
cursors, though!
