Dennis,
Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, we don't have any Macs
here, so NIH Image won't work. But there's another Program from
UTHSCSA named Image Tool (IT) that will do.  It runs under Windows 95
or NT, but not under 3.11 or WfW. The only problem left is HOW to
stain the cells i.e to find an appropriate dye.
