Lambda DNA Problems

I am having problems in cutting lambda DNA prepared from liquid lysates 
using Promega's LambdaSorb and Qiagen Lambda Kit. I have done 
Phenol/chloroform extractions, as well as ethanol precipitations to help 
remove high salt concentrations. I have also treated a sample with 
agarase and still there is no cutting. Can anyone give me suggestions on 
how to help with my situation?
