Bernard, Thanks for your message - it looks like cloning it will be 
my only option! Any ideas where I may source a G418-resistance 
cassette in easy to excise configuration - all the construct I have 
found so far make it very difficult to cleanly cut out the gene 
itself without promoter and poly A attached. I will simply(?) clone
this into pcDNAIII.
