Colcemid or colchicine cell culture arrest conditions/method?

I have found that treating leukemic cells with colchicine at a 
concentration of 100 ug/ml for 24 hours.  This works quite well for doing 
chromosome spreads; however I do not really know what you have planned 
for the cells after cycle arrest.  I hope this helps.
