I don't know whether your protein is binding DNA. Anyway, we routinely polyethyleneimine precipitation of DNA at medium salt concentration (0.5M) and this is really an efficient procedure. If you need a detailled protocol, I can e-mai it if you want. Just let me know Dr Phil Good
