sequencing gel won't stick to Whatman paper

Hi

Are you using Whatmann's 3mm paper? Or a cheaper version from a different
company? The cheaper paper is a little cruder and we've often had problems
transferring the gel to it. Especially if the gel is somewhat dry--we fix
our gels and then siphon off the fixative. When we use Whatmann, no
problem. We still use the cheaper paper but need to leave the gel wetter.
