Hi,
Several protocols for mRNA isolatation suggest the use of glycogen
together with a salt in order to precipitate all the mRNA present in your
sample. I' m wondering wether this glycogen doesn't have a bad influence
on subsequent cDNA synthesis (this glycogen is namely clearly visible on
gel). Furthermore I measure my mRNA concentration with
UV-spectrophotometry. Could this have a influence or do I just stress too
much ?
Thanks for answering,
