Dear Jacki:
By labeling DNA with P-32 using PCR, you should not use the regular PCR
protocol. The dNTP(dATP, dGTP, and dTTP) conc. should be decreased.
I have no problem to label the DNA generated from PCR or plasmid DNAs for
Southern and Northerns. You may use as little as 1-5ng of DNA as template
and get >10^9cpm/ug DNA.
