Antibiotic Potency Assays

Any recommendations regarding incubators for antibiotic 
potency assays.  We would like to get a new incubator but I 
am hesitant about getting one with mechanical convection.  
Although that would assist greatly with temperature 
distribution, I just do not have any experience with 
mechanical convection ovens for this assay.  Any downsides 
with mechanical convection ovens?
