Lignin Enzymes wanted

Plant cell wall lignin is derived from a phenylpropanoid precursor that
undergoes random polymerization via free radical mediated condensation without
any enzyme catalyst. Enzymes involved in the formation of this precursor have
been identified, e.g. PAL phenylalanine ammonia lyase (just look in plant
biochem book). I am not aware of any fungi that secrete an enzyme capable of
breaking down lignin, their enzymes just degrade everything else, e.g.
cellulose.
