I'm trying to use a chloramphenicol-sepharose resin from Sigma to obtain sequencing amounts of CAT reporter gene from cell culture transfections. My problem seems to be that the resin won't let go of the CAT. Has anyone out there used this resin for obtaining the reporter from mammalian cell transfections?
