FMC BioProducts is offering a limited number of researchers the
opportunity to test prototype agarose gels designed for
electrophoretic separation of RNA. These prototypes are suitable
     for
a variety of applications, including Northern blotting,
     fractionation
of RNA fragments for cloning experiments, and analysis of in
vitro-synthesized transcripts. The ready-cast gels are
     RNAse-free,
saving the time and effort normally involved in ensuring manually
     cast
gels are free of contaminating nucleases. The disposable tray
insulates the gel from contamination by electrophoretic
     equipment,
thereby offering a convenient, fast solution to the challenge of
     RNA
resolution. Protocols for use will be included with sample gels.

The first 25 respondents will be sent four prototype RNAse-free
     gels
          in our Reliant format--9.5cm long, 6cm wide, 8 wells/gel,
     suitable
for up to 25uL of sample containing up to 3ug total RNA or
corresponding quantities of cloned RNA. If you would like to
participate in this trial, please respond to:
