M13K07 helper phage: miniplasmids???

We infected E. coli CJ236 with M13k07 helper and our single stranded DNA
preps show two bands of apparent sizes 6.5 and 1.6 kb on a 1% agarose
gel.  We called the supplier (Biorad) and they said that the smaller band
represented miniplasmids!!!  Does anyone out there know anything about
this?
