radioactive probe counter?

I used to work in a lab that had a small machine that would directly 
count 1uL of radiolabeled DNA or RNA, which was much easier than the 
standard scintillation cocktail method.  Unfortunately, I don't know who 
makes it or where it comes from.  Has anyone heard of this type of 
machine?  Where can we buy one?
