Soubilizing protein pellet for liquid scintillation counting

Hi all!

I have several hundred microgram protein pellet
bound by a tritium-labeled polar ligand. 
Ordering for a commercial available solubilizer is 
very inconvenience  and time-consumed in China.
Could anyone give me a suggestion on how to
solubilize the sample to make it counted in
xylene-based scintillation cocktail efficiently?
