GIT RNA prep from bacteria.

Hello,

I have one question regarding the Chomczynski-Sacchi method for RNA prep
with GIT: Do you need to modify the protocoll for bacteria? We have had
problems with those, although it works out OK in mammalian cells. Is
there a modified protoll available? In Current Protocolls, we only found
a modification of the Cesium Cloride protocol.
A reference would be great.
