We are currently trying to design a "guessmere" to be used for screening
a chicken cDNA library. The references we have, unfortunately, apply to
mammals. They suggest, after using the preferred most-frequent codon, to
account for the relative infrequency of CpGs. Does this rule also apply
for chicken? Do you have any other tips that may help?
Thanks in advance
Matthieu Vermeren
