dimethyldichloroslinane alternative??

      We have had good success with Sigmacote from Sigma Chemical Co. 
      It is a silicon based solution. I have heard of people using the 
      RainX also.

Hi,
Does anyone know of a substitute for dimethyldichlorosilane (to prevent 
sequencing gel to stick to the glass plate).  I heard that it is 
possible to use RainX, Pledge, and even PAM.  It that possible?
