Roche PCR Diagnostics User Group (Proposed)
Roche supply a range of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) kits for
application in clinical diagnostic laboratories. These PCR techniques
require a high level of technical competence and it is proposed to
set up a Users Group to advise users on the best methods in applying
this tests. It is also envisaged that information on problems which
may arise from time to time with these products could be discussed.
This would also allow monitoring of product quality and consistency
together with early recognition of potential problems in the products.
If you use these reagents/methods and you would like to participate
in this user group, please e-mail Geraldine Kaminski, Virus Reference
Laboratory, UCD, Belfield, Dublin 4, Ireland at gzk at ollamh.ucd.ie.
Please include your name, institution, and interest in these products.
Further details can be found on the World Wide Web at
http://midir.ucd.ie/~brazil/rug/rughome.html
In the first instance it is proposed to communicate using an e-mail
address book, with contributions posted to each member of the group.
This proposed Users Group would be independent of Roche Diagnostics
but would welcome contributions from members of the company.
