Re-PCRing after gel-purification problems

I have tried various methods and by far the easiest if you have a decent
PCR product is to place the gel slice in a 1.5 ml epp with 1 ml of water.
Leave it overnight in the fridge and then PCR 1 microL of the water in the
morning. If you want to PCR quicker then incubate at around 40C for one
hour instead of overnight at 4C. I use ordinary 2% agarose gels in TBE.
It may not be the quickest technique but it is certainly the easiest.
