Anyone have a great RNA prep for S. aureus? Do the ribosomal bands have to be tight to get a good signal from a message in low copy?
We have tried Trizol with a Phenol step but the RNA
doesn't stay stable at -70.
Any ideas about how to lyse S. aureus w/o lysostaphin and that works better than sonication??
Does anyone know the mechanism of achromopeptidase lysis?
Thanks.
Susan
