Nylon membrane stripping: deionized formamide....

Hello all!

I was wondering what people use in order to strip their RNA nylon membranes.  I 
have used boiling 0.1% SDS or 50% formamide 6XSSPE to strip uncharged and 
positively charged membranes before.  The second method seems to work better.  Has 
anyone tried something with wich they are happy with?

Also, I have been using deoinized formamide:  is this a requirement when you are just 
trying to strip the blot?
