I'd love to know this, as I only once prepared this solution successfully and can't remember how! It seems hard to get it down to pH 4. BTW, I generally find it also doesn't get all the DNA into the genomic phase and still require a DNase step, so any tips appreciated! Neil Saunders Dept of Biochemistry, Oxford University
