I don't remember where but I read that DMPC (dimethylpyrocarbonate) is safer to use than DEPC to inhibit RNase. I mean safer for health. But does any one know if it is safe for RNA experiments to use DMPC-treated solutions? In particular, is autoclave a good way to get rid of it as it is for DEPC? Thanks for any help.
