thank you to all those who wrote back about making silent restriction
maps. ANd now for my next question...
what about a program that incorporates methylation sites into a
restriction map? Most mapping programs ignore the possibility of
methylated sites and give a higher cut frequency for dcm and dam
sensitive enzymes than is actually the case in dcm+ and dam+ hosts. Has
anyone heard of a program that will make these types of maps?
