ECL Western troubles

Just to let you know, I have had similar problems, but more so with the 
Pierce Supersignal than ECL.  I have no idea why they don't work some of 
the time...one day good, the next bad.  I did discover that using glass 
for antibody incubations is bad...I guess the Ab stick to the glass.  I 
have tried many alterations in the technique, and it all boils down to 
one thing...gremlins.
