Amp stock survival?

Hi. 
Are you sure you don't mess up Amp with IPTG?
We add the Amp to LB just after having it sterilized (due to its
thermolybility - don't boil it!). Then we store the Amp-LB for month
without adding new Amp to it. I don't have faced any problems with my
minipreps yet.
