problem on PEG8000 in plasmid Extraction

Dear netter,

I am used to use the PEG8000/NaCl solution in large scale plasmid DNA 
purification.  It works well.  But recently I cannot see my DNA after adding PEG 
and centrifuging.  Another one in our lab has the preblem too: after he 
re-autoclave his PEG solution again he cannot get the DNA since then, although 
the PEG worked very well before. What happened to PEG?
