Hi Folks, Does anyone have a genuine Thermus flavus strain, not AT62, or know where one can be had? I say genuine because we have cloned three times a gene from supposed Thermus flavus and find that the sequence is identical to Thermus thermophilus HB8 and not Thermus flavus upon comparison with Genbank sequences for both flavus and thermophilus.
