Procaryotic gene for use as internal control in Northerns?

I require a probe for a constitutively expressed procaryotic house-keeping
gene that is suitable for use as an internal control on Northern blots (or
RT-PCR).  I am working with enterococci (E. faecalis and E. faecium).

Does anyone have any particular recommendations for an appropriate
procaryotic constitutively expressed house-keeping gene?
