We buy ours (G-50 or G-25) from 5'-3' and they are pretty good.  Spin 
them (in a microfuge at top speed) for 90 sec, add your sample, let it 
sit for 2 min and spin for 60 sec.  We have run acrylamide gels on our 
porbes to see how well it works and it seems to work pretty well.
