Mme I is apparently difficult to purify due to low yield. It only has a
recognition sequence of 6bp even though it cuts 20 bases downstream. If
you want long recognition sequences then the intron encoded RE's are the
ones you want ie Sce I.
The problem with being on the cutting edge is that you occasionally get
sliced from time to time....
