Staining on DNA on nylon or nitrocellulose membranes

RNA on nylon membranes (NOT nitrocellulose) can be stained with 0.03%
methylene blue and 0.3 M sodium acetate pH 5.2 for half a minute
followed by a 2 minute rinse with water.
