Self ligation of PCR products

Hi there,
Generally if your PCR primers don't have PO4 on their 5' end there is no
way to get ligation (or at least this is what is accepted up to now -
prove diopposite and get a Nobel prize?).
If they do have, than you should know, that part of the molecules have G,
C or T as an extension instead of A (though a small percent). And also as
our colleague Hiranya Roychowdhury writes there are also blunt end ones.
