Fragility of plasmids: size limit for shaking/vortexing?

There is no upper limit as long as there is no standard for "vigorous
shaking by hand".
If you are worried about breakage, try Centriflex-AG cartridge from AGTC:
all you need is to centrifuge your sample through it ,  protein is trapped
in the cartridge.
