Try using betaine at say 1M final in your PCR buffer. Make up a 5M stock
of Sigma B2754. Set up PCR's with 0.5, 1.0, 1.5M etc. It should help.
DMSO to 5% final may also help. I prefer to use new DMSO ie not some
that has been sitting around for a couple of years since first opened.
