Fusarium & NORTHERN BLOTS

I am working on the influence of pesticides on mycotoxin production by 
Fusarium species. I want to do an mRNA extraction for a NORTHERN BLOT but 
do not know the quantity of fungal mycelium needed for extraction. I have 
2 agar plates (solid PDA) with fungal mycelium (as replicate/treatment) - 
is this enough for mRNA extraction? Any advice would be appreciated!
