electrophoresis units recommendations?

Hi Peter,
I don't know whether Novex systems are available over there, but I have
used their precast PAGE gels in their vertical system, with good results.
On the model I used, you could run 1 or 2 gels at once, and there was no
cooling system.
They also make a casting apparatus that I haven't personally used, but
others in my lab like it.
