Non-specific binding of avidin woes.

Remember that non-specificity usually is concentration dependent
to a very high degree, i.e. dilute your avidin and the non-specificity
disappears MUCH faster than the specific interation. You may need
a very high sensitivity system to dilute the avidin enough, but it is
worth a try.
