re: I'm mostly dealing with 10 - 200mg eukaryotic tissue cells; that's still a very broad category, but I'm looking to design a RNA and mRNA extraction kit of my own. I think I've come to the conclusion TRIzol reagent is best for large-scale, and RNeasy is best for small-scale. Thanks for the reply! Karim
