Dear Mike,
here are all the news about Multalin
the old version corresponding to Nucl Acids Res; paper (1988) is
available at EMBL server (v3.0)

the version that used to be commercialised (v4.0) is now freeware : you
can download it from ftp://ftp.biotoul.fr/rna/multalin
It is a DOS version with an alignment editor

the newest version (v5.3) is on the web at
http://www.toulouse.inra.fr/multalin.html
this version includes improvement in the method (less problem with
sequences of unhomogenous lengths, weighted sequences ...)
