ProCipitate and Viraffinity???

Just curious as to whether anyone has any experience with the products
ProCipitate and Viraffinity from CPG, Inc. in New Jersey. 

These are "aqueous suspensions of synthetic, anionic polyelectrolyte in
buffer" which are supposed to aid in removing proteins from plasmid preps
and enzyme reactions (ProCipitate) and in isolation of both enveloped and
non-enveloped viruses (Viraffinity).
