The best DNA analysis software?

I use a combination of different software to get at the desired type of
DNA/RNA/Protein analysis. GCG on a Unix is faster and can do things
that a PC based (both MACOS and DOS) software will find it difficult to
execute. These days there are WWW sites that polishes your
DNA/RNA/Protein analysis outputs from other software into publishable
quality outputs. So, sticking to one software is probably not the best
thing to do! Hope this helps.
