Help ! RNA prep from less than 1 million cells

Hi all, 

I have been trying to extract as much total RNA from less than 1 million
PBMC and from frozen PBMC as I could but my yield never has reached the
optimal amount which is 10ug.  I've tried several different methods and
tricks but the most that I've got is around 6ug.  If you have any tricks
or kits that I cay try out, please, let me know.  Thanks in advance !!
