zeocin selection

any one out there using the zeocin based selection vectors (invitrogen)
in mammalian cell lines.  what is the phenotype of cells under zeocin
selection.  I'm transfecting L929 cells, but i don't seem to be seeing
any dead cells in my culture (up to 600µg/ml zeo for 7 days post
tranfection).  also, any one have high transfection efficiency method
for L929 cells?  thanks for your input.
