It's reality. <g>
We used from Perkin Elmer the TaqMan Salmonella kit and it's a PCR system in
which fluorescens is produced together with the product of the primer set used.
You can get info from PE of course. The drawback of this method is that, as far
as i know, you can only obtain the double labeled probe you need from PE and
it's not really cheap. :)
