EtBr staining of DNA

If it's for 'quick and dirty', why don't you just add EtBr to your agarose
gel? We add EtBr to 0.5 or 1ug/ml in our agarose solution just before pouring
the gel. DNA stains as runs thru gel Only occasionally need to re-stain -
when gel ran too long and EtBr front (running opposite to DNA) has passed
the smaller bands. Most of the time no problem.
