Plant tissue PCR

I am going to be trying PCR on various plant tissues, and am wondering if
there is any easy way to prep plant material for PCR. Would it be
sufficient to freeze/thaw or boil the tissue (in something like TE) and
then use an aliquot of that as template in the PCR, or do I need to do more
extensive preparation like cellulase digestion, etc.? I've never worked
with plants before, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
